1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Universal Film Horizon platform (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease use.

3. Eligibility & Prohibited Jurisdictions
You Must
- Be at least 18 years old (21 in some jurisdictions)
- Have full legal capacity
- Complete KYC verification via SumSub
- Reside in an authorised jurisdiction

Cuba • Iran • North Korea • Syria • Crimea • Donetsk & Luhansk • Russia (post-2022 sanctions)

4. Account Responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and private keys.
- Multiple accounts or impersonation will result in permanent suspension.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
5. Staking Mechanics & Rules
Lock-up Period
Stakes are locked until final box-office settlement (typically 45–90 days after wide release).
Return Calculation
Final multiplier = (Worldwide Gross ÷ Budget) × Genre & Territory Adjustments. Capped at 20× (historical highest: Parasite 16.8×).
Fees (as of Nov 2025)
2.5% entry fee • 15% performance fee on profits • 0.5%–1% withdrawal fee (chain-dependent)
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Use bots, scripts, or automated access
- Attempt to manipulate film data or outcomes
- Engage in wash trading or market manipulation
- Share insider information
- Exploit bugs or glitches
- Conduct phishing or social engineering
Violation results in immediate forfeiture of all stakes and permanent ban.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, algorithms, prediction models, UI/UX, trademarks (“Universal Film Horizon”, “UFH”), and software are owned exclusively by Universal Film Horizon Ltd. Unauthorised use constitutes copyright infringement.
8. Termination & Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your account with or without notice for breach of these Terms, suspicious activity, or regulatory requirement. Upon termination, all open stakes remain subject to final settlement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees you paid in the preceding 6 months.
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of capital.
- No liability for force majeure, third-party data errors, or blockchain failures.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Governing Law: England and Wales (excluding conflict of laws principles)
Dispute Resolution:
- Informal negotiation (30 days)
- Mediation in London
- Final and binding arbitration under LCIA Rules (seat: London)
- Class action waiver – disputes must be brought individually
11. Amendments
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via email and in-app notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
